In case you weren’t aware, the Big Ten played some football games over the weekend.

Per SB Nation, the conference drew 813,944 fans as a whole (67,829 average), which includes Wisconsin’s “neutral site” game with LSU down the road at Green Bay’s Lambeau Field.

Here are the individual numbers for each team:

Attendance

Absolutely no surprise with the top half of the league here, but what about Penn State, Illinois, and Maryland? Happy Valley should always be filled for a home opener, no matter the opponent or forecast for the season. The Illini and Terps both welcomed new head coaches in Lovie Smith and D.J. Durkin, respectively, yet neither could even reach 75 percent capacity.

Rutgers and Indiana were the only two Big Ten teams to open the season on the road.
