There are four conference matchups this weekend, marking the true beginning of the conference season for the league.
The headliner is certainly USC taking part in its first Big Ten game against Michigan the Big House. The Trojans are road favorites by a modest 3 points to start the week.
Iowa is receiving 1 point on the road against Minnesota in a game that looks to be a pick ’em, while Nebraska opens as a 10-point favorite over fellow undefeated Illinois at home.
Washington is favored by 12 points over visiting Northwestern despite falling to rivals Washington State just last week.
In nonconference action, UCLA is a 21-point underdog in Death Valley against LSU, Michigan State a 6-point dog to Boston College on the road. Purdue and Rutgers are also both underdogs on the road against Oregon State and Virginia Tech, respectively.
Ohio State, Penn State and Indiana are expected to cruise against lower-level competition.
