Big Ten Championship Game: Opening line revealed for Oregon vs. Penn State
Big Ten Championship Game teams are set, as the Oregon Ducks will be taking on the Penn State Nittany Lions next Saturday in Indianapolis. Entering Saturday, Penn State needed some help to make the championship and it got just that as Ohio State lost at home to Michigan.
With the matchup set, 1 of the first things college football fans will be looking at is the betting line for the game. FanDuel has put the opening line for the game up, and it has the Ducks as a 3.5-point favorite with an O/U of 50.5. Fans can use Tradition’s Michigan sports betting apps to get in on the action.
The game could potentially feature the top 2 teams in the CFP rankings, as the Nittany Lions were 4th entering Saturday. The Buckeyes were ranked at No. 3, and No. 2 Texas is in a game with rival Texas A&M that will determine which team will be playing in the SEC Championship Game.
The matchup will be only the fifth matchup between these 2 storied programs, and the Nittany Lions lead the all-time series 3-1. The last time they played was in the Rose Bowl on January 2, 1995 with the Nittany Lions winning that game 38-20.
Kickoff in the B1G Championship will be next Saturday at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, and the game will be at Lucas Oil Stadium. The game will be aired on CBS.
