Big Ten coaches discuss College Football Playoff, whether B1G is helping itself or not
The first rankings of the College Football Playoff are set to be released on ESPN Tuesday night. Which team will be No. 1?
Well, it’s not all about who is No. 1. It’s about who is getting left out of the CFP entirely. The Big Ten, the past two seasons, has been left out. Ohio State has won the conference title the past two years and hasn’t made the final four.
Is that the way it should be?

Over the offseason, during Big Ten Media Days, B1G coaches were asked about the system that is in place. Should it be expanded? Should conference champions automatically be included? Is the Big Ten doing everything it can to help its own teams make the playoff?

The first rankings show is scheduled to take place Tuesday night on ESPN between the Duke-Kansas and Michigan State-Kentucky basketball games.
