Big Ten releases kickoff times, TV broadcast schedule for Week 5
Big Ten football is entering Week 4 but the conference has finalized the full schedule for Week 5. That will be the final weekend of September with a few nonconference games left but mostly conference play beginning to heat up.
In non-B1G matchups, Louisiana will face Minnesota at home at the 12 p.m. ET time slot. Wagner at Rutgers is the other nonconference game in Week 5 and will air at the 3:30 time slot.
Within the B1G, there will be 5 league matchups beginning with Penn State at Northwestern in the early slot. Michigan’s first road trip of the season — at Nebraska — will air in the 3:30 p.m. time slot.
Week 5 will feature just one game in the primetime slot with Iowa getting a night game in Kinnick Stadium. That matchup will be against Michigan State with the Spartans looking to regroup under interim head coach Harlon Barnett.
In terms of byes, Ohio State and Wisconsin will be idle to wrap up September. Here is the full Week 5 schedule:
