Big Ten reveals broadcast details and designations for Week 5
Big Ten released television broadcast details for the Week 5 slate of games on Monday.
To start off the week, Washington will head to Rutgers on Friday, Sept. 27 in a nationally televised showdown on FOX.
On Saturday, Sept. 28, the lineup begins with Maryland at Indiana on the Big Ten Network at noon ET, with Nebraska playing Purdue in that same time slot although the network hasn’t been determined.
Ohio State will travel to Michigan State for a Saturday night clash at 7 pm ET that will be shown on Peacock. That will be the B1G opener for the Buckeyes after they wrap up the nonconference slate in Week 4.

The most notable matchups of the day haven’t confirmed a kickoff time and network as of the Monday release. Illinois has started the season with an impressive (3-0) record and will make the trek to Happy Valley to battle Penn State (2-0).
Michigan and Minnesota are both (2-1) heading into Week 4, so that’s another intriguing matchup to keep an eye on once the conference releases official times and network details for all the Week 5 games.
Wisconsin also has to make the cross-country trek to play a red-hot USC team — and with the Badgers coming off a drubbing at home to Alabama — they will have to fix things in a hurry to compete with the Trojans on the road.
Finally, two of the new west coast teams in the conference, Oregon and UCLA, will face off in Week 5. The Ducks look like one of the top teams in the conference, while UCLA is sitting at (1-1) heading into Week 4.
