Big Ten reveals weekly awards following Week 10 action

The Big Ten is back with more Players of the Week honors following all the Week 10 action! The weekend included some interesting results throughout the league, particularly in the B1G West with the division lead changing hands once again.

Coming out of the weekend, the B1G handed out 4 weekly honors:

Offensive Player of the Week

  • Isaiah Williams, Illinois WR

Williams delivered 13 catches for 131 yards with 2 touchdowns in Illinois’ thrilling win over Minnesota. That catch total is the most for any B1G player in a game this season, and Williams delivered a game-winning touchdown with 50 seconds left. Williams also delivered a 4th-and-11 conversion with a 22-yard catch during the game-winning drive.

Defensive Player of the Week

  • Aaron Casey, Indiana LB

Casey delivered 9 total tackles and 7 in the fourth quarter as Indiana stifled Wisconsin for a 20-14 win. He delivered 4 TFL and 2 sacks while Casey’s 4 TFL are the most by a Hoosier defender since 2016. Added a forced fumble in the fourth quarter.

Special Teams Player of the Week

  • Drew Stevens, Iowa kicker

Stevens delivered a 52-yard field goal for 14 seconds left in Iowa’s 10-7 win over Northwestern. He now has two game-winning kicks in his career, and the latest gives Iowa the B1G West lead with 3 games left in the season.

Freshman of the Week

  • Kaden Feagin, Illinois RB

Feagin set a career-high with 148 yards of offense in the win over Minnesota. He produced 89 rushing yards on 22 carries and added a 54-yard touchdown catch to give Illinois a 21-20 lead in the second half.
