Big Ten Softball: Dates, locations set for 2023 ACC/B1G Softball Challenge
The ACC/B1G Softball Challenge is back for a 6th season, and some fun matchups will be in store for the 2023 edition.
On Tuesday, the two conferences announced the format and matchups. In addition to the regularly-scheduled challenge games, results from the TaxAct Clearwater Invitational will count toward the challenge results. Indiana, Michigan and Northwestern from the B1G will take part in the invitational with Duke, Florida State and Virginia Tech representing in the ACC.
Out of the ACC, Clemson, Georgia Tech, North Carolin and NC State will host games during the challenge. Louisville, Notre Dame, Syracuse and Virginia will also participate.

Eight B1G programs will take part in the challenge outside of the TaxAct Clearwater Invitational. Ohio State, Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, Northwestern, Purdue and Wisconsin will all take part.
