Wisconsin enters this weekend amongst the “First Four out” of Joe Lunardi’s latest bracketology projection. A win over the 13-18 Buckeyes might not be enough to put them in the field, but it’s possible they could make a deep run in the Big Ten Tournament.
Ohio State has had a tough season in 2022-23, failing to meet lofty preseason expectations. The Buckeyes went just 5-15 in Big Ten play this season. Nebraska and Minnesota also struggled to gain traction in the Big Ten this season.
On Thursday, the winners of both of those matchups will move on to the 2nd round. The winner of Ohio State/Wisconsin will face Iowa while the better of Nebraska/Minnesota will be matched up with Maryland.
