Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix is capable of doing a lot of things… apparently including playing wide receiver when called upon to do so. Nix recorded his first-ever career NFL receiving touchdown during Sunday’s contest against the Baltimore Ravens.

Nix caught a short pass on an unconventional play from Denver on 4th & goal with just under 7 and a half minutes remaining in the second quarter.

Here’s a look at the play:

He’s had his ups and downs, but the former Auburn and Oregon quarterback has certainly shown some bright spots like this one with the tough task of being called upon to be a starting NFL QB in just his first year in the league. So far in this game, he has completed 12 of his 20 passing attempts for 159 yards with 1 interception. He has also carried the ball 3 times for 27 yards.

He came into the game with a 63.2% completion rate, totaling 1,530 passing yards with 8 touchdowns and 5 interceptions.

Nix’s receiving TD is about all that has gone well for the Broncos, who trail the Ravens 31-10 in the 3rd quarter. Coming off of a 28-14 win over the Carolina Panthers last week, the Broncos will hope to come back and extend their winning streak to a total of three games with a victory on the road here.
