Boo Corrigan admitted he and the rest of the College Football Playoff selection committee will be like most college football fans around the country in Week 13. He referenced the anticipation that is building within the group for The Game upcoming between Ohio State and Michigan.

When the latest CFP rankings dropped, Ohio State held onto its No. 2 slot with Michigan at No. 3, setting up another top-5 showdown in The Game. Asked for his thoughts about both teams, Corrigan said the committee sees two teams balanced on either side of the ball.

He specifically pointed to Michigan’s dominance and a key win for Ohio State against Notre Dame. Corrigan reiterated the group is “excited” for the rivalry showdown this weekend.

“You know, two really good teams, two teams that are good on both sides of the ball. Michigan to get the blocked punt for a safety last week, to scoop and score; Ohio State to put up in excess of 430 yards against Minnesota, I think both teams continue to get better as they go through this,” Corrigan explained. “Michigan has been dominant, and Ohio State has got the win over Notre Dame as well as Penn State. Like every college football fan, we’re excited to watch the game and watch two really good teams play in the big house and see what happens from there.”

The two sides have a lot on the line on Saturday, and all eyes of the college football world will be on Ann Arbor for The Game.
