CBS Sports projects 11 B1G bowl teams, three in New Year's Six

CBS Sports’ Jerry Palm is still a believer in the B1G.

At the midway point of the season, he still has 11 B1G teams making the postseason and three of them going to New Year’s Six bowls in his latest projections.

The SEC is the only other conference with three New Year’s Six teams and no other conference is projected to have 11 bowl teams. Needless to say, that’d be a B1G record.

But Palm didn’t take Wisconsin out of his New Year’s Six field after the Badgers lost their second game of the year. Perhaps more people are believing in Wisconsin long-term.
