Sure, bowl games are great opportunities to showcase programs to a national audience across college football. A total of 10 B1G teams will get that postseason privilege.

But it’s also a chance for college athletes to get some loaded swag bags. Interesting is the fact that a better the bowl does not guarantee better swag. In fact, one could argue that five-win Minnesota will get the best haul of any B1G team.

Among some of the best across college football, according to The Sports Business Journal, are:

  • A Coleman two-person  tent at the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl in Boise, Idaho.
  • Big gift cards to Best Buy or Visa gift cards (at games in Detroit, Orlando, Atlanta)
  • Shopping trips to stores that are sponsors like Belk (Charlotte), Bass Pro Shops (Liberty Bowl in Memphis)
  • Cowboy boots in the Nova Home Loans Bowl in Tucson, Ariz.
