Brett McMurphy leaves Ohio State, Penn State out of College Football Playoff
Yes, we just got done with Week 3.
But why not have a little fun and make some predictions as to who is going to make the College Football Playoff at the end of the year? Heck, we all have our thoughts.
On Wednesday, Brett McMurphy — a college football insider — gave his predictions for the New Year’s Six bowl games. He included Big Ten teams, but, that may have been the issue.
Ohio State and Penn State are both in his Rose Bowl and Peach Bowl, respectively, which means neither team would make it into the College Football Playoff. That wouldn’t speak to well to the Big Ten.
Here are his projections — even though he’s talking about LSU in the background:

Maybe McMurphy has Wisconsin in it? Michigan perhaps?
But to be honest, No. 4 Ohio State and No. 10 Penn State are the best chances of the Big Ten being represented in the end of the year playoff. No. 18 Wisconsin and No. 19 Michigan?
Not as much.
