A battle between B1G East programs is about to be decided with one recruit setting his decision timetable.
The player is Moses Walker, a four-star linebacker out of Brooklyn, New York. According to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Walker is the top-rated player out of New York and the No. 16 linebacker nationally for the class of 2022. He is also a top-150 prospect in the country, coming in as the 150th prospect overall.
Walker has trimmed his potential destinations list to two B1G East schools with Penn State and Rutgers still in the running. Along with that announcement, Walker set the date for his commitment in his Tuesday post on Twitter.
He will announce that decision Thursday evening:
I will committing Thursday at 6 PM 🤞🏾. @recruitgfx pic.twitter.com/wk8wEd4EOk

Both Penn State and Rutgers have done a great job on the recruiting trail for this cycle. As things currently stand, Penn State has the No. 3 recruiting class nationally. Meanwhile, Rutgers has the No. 13 recruiting class nationally.
Whoever winds up with Walker will have a nice boost to their rankings.
