The B1G season is set to kick off this weekend and the Big Ten Network has completed its list of the top 30 players in the conference.

Big Ten Network analyst Joshua Perry has selected Iowa offensive lineman Tyler Linderbaum as the No. 1 player in the B1G this season. Linderbaum is coming off an All-American campaign in 2020 after finishing as a finalist for the Rimington Trophy.

No. 2 on the list is Ohio State wide receiver Chris Olave.

Linderbaum was a unanimous All-American last season for an Iowa squad that ended the season on a six-game winning streak.

Olave led defending B1G champion Ohio State last season in receptions (50), receiving yards (729), and receiving touchdowns (7).

The B1G season begins on Aug. 28 with a matchup between Nebraska and host Illinois (1 p.m. EST/FOX).
