Heading into the 2017 season, there are really only two B1G quarterbacks that are bathing in the national spotlight. J.T. Barrett and Trace McSorley.

That’s understandable, considering Barrett and McSorley are the leaders of two of the best teams in the B1G and they both have showcased big play ability. But does all the national attention indicate they are two of the best passers in the conference entering the year?

Not according to BTN’s Stanley Jackson.

BTN studio host Mike Hall asked Jackson who he believed the top three passers in the B1G are. His answer might surprise you:

To be fair, Hall did ask Jackson to forget about the legs, which is a strength for both Barrett and McSorley. He was also noted that his list was based on quarterbacks that have played in the B1G, a likely reason why Nebraska’s Tanner Lee was left out.

Still, praises for David Blough, Wilton Speight and Richard Lagow have to be reassuring for the Purdue, Michigan and Indiana fan bases.

Look for those three quarterbacks to make some big plays through the air this fall.
