BTN announces broadcast teams, studio talent for 2019 football season
The 2019 college football season is almost here, folks.
On Saturday, Florida takes on Miami (FL) to kick off the year and then the Big Ten teams begin play next week. Ahead of all the action, the Big Ten Network announced its broadcast teams and studio talent for the upcoming season.

For game broadcasts, Kevin Kugler, Matt Millen and Rick Pizzo will be covering Michigan’s season-opener against Middle Tennessee on Aug. 31. James Laurinaitis, Brandon Gaudin and Elise Menaker will be calling the Penn State opener against Idaho on Aug. 31.
Lisa Byington and J Leman will be calling Illinois’ Week 1 game against Akron on Aug. 31. Mike Pereira, Dean Blandino and Dick Honig are returning to BTN as rules analysts.
Additional play-by-play announcers include Joe Beninati and Mike Monaco. Additional analysts include Stanley Jackson, Chuck Long and Shaun O’Hara.
In the studio, Dave Revsine, Mike Hall and Pizzo are back anchoring studio coverage for the network, while Coley Harvey is making his debut in a reporting role. New analysts include Urban Meyer, Mike Martin and Joshua Perry. The three newcomers are joining returning analysts Gerry DiNardo, Howard Griffith, Glen Mason and Dave Wannstedt.
“The hosts and analysts will rotate among a fall football programming lineup with daily BTN Live Updates, appearances on The B1G Show and Saturday’s on BTN Tailgate, B1G Football Game Break, B1G Football Postgame and The Final Drive,” the announcement states.
