BTN’s Dave Wannstedt unveils B1G power rankings after Week 12

Dave Wannstedt was not afraid to shake things up after a wild Week 12!
The BTN analyst unveiled his weekly power rankings on Wednesday as usual. However, his power rankings finally took a shift after Minnesota suffered its first loss over the weekend.

Ohio State is still locked in at No. 1 but the Gophers slid all the way to No. 5 after losing on the road to Iowa. Jumping all the way to No. 2 was Michigan after a blowout of in-state rival Michigan State. That means the Wolverines are now ahead of two teams they lost to – No. 3 Penn State and No. 4 Wisconsin – on Wannstedt’s rankings.

Indiana, Iowa, and surging Purdue made up the middle teams of the conference while Maryland, Northwestern, and Rutgers brought up the rear. Here’s how the power rankings look after Week 12:
