Big Ten Network analyst Dave Wannstedt released his B1G power rankings following Week 3 on Wednesday, and unsurprisingly, Ohio State was ranked at the top of the list.

“They are impressing me in more ways than I ever thought they would this year to be honest with you,” Wannstedt said.

“You talk about maximizing the talent. When Urban was there, they had some great recruiting classes, we all know that, and they’re getting the most out of these players right now, they’re responding, particularly on defense.”

But at No. 2, Wannstedt went a little off the board picking Iowa to take the spot directly behind Ohio State. Michigan and Wisconsin fell in the next positions at No. 3 and 4, respectively.

Wannstedt didn’t talk about Maryland in his video, but the Terrapins suffered an upset loss on the road to Temple, causing them to drop considerably on just about everyone’s rankings.
