Occupying the top spot on Wannstedt’s list, the Ohio State Buckeyes made a national statement by throttling the Wisconsin Badgers, 38-7, on October 26 in Columbus. Unbeaten at 8-0 at ranked No. 3 in the latest Associated Press Poll, the Buckeyes are idle on Saturday.

Wannstedt’s second-best team in the B1G, the Penn State Nittany Lions are also off on November 2. Moving up to No. 5 in the most recent AP Poll with Oklahoma’s loss in Manhattan, the Nittany Lions will go to Columbus on November 23.

The class of the B1G West, Wannstedt has Minnesota as the league’s No. 3 team. The biggest game of the P.J. Fleck era, the Gophers will host Penn State on November 9.

Northwestern and Rutgers, the B1G’s only teams without a conference win, slot in the final two spots in the analyst’s rankings.
