Football is a beautiful sport.

With Damar Hamlin watching from his hospital bed and the football world giving honoring him in prayers and donations to his charity, it was time for the Buffalo Bills to finish the NFL regular season at home against the New England Patriots.

The Bills are playing with Hamlin on the mind as Nyheim Hines took a 96-yard kickoff return for a touchdown on the opening kickoff. Hamlin’s recovery and words to the Bills organization have been an inspiration for the team to potentially finish the regular season strong against a Patriots team that clinches the 7th seed in a playoff spot with a win over Buffalo.

Hamlin suffered a cardiac arrest after tackling Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins on the road versus the Bengals in Week 17 on Monday Night Football.

The Bills clinch the 2nd seed in the AFC Playoffs with a win over New England.
