Watt and Cam Heyward teamed up in the second quarter for the first points of the game. Kansas City tried to execute a play out of the Wildcat formation that was doomed from the snap as the ball was bobbled multiple times.
Darrell Williams finally scooped up the ball but he never saw Heyward coming around on his blindside. Heyward leveled Williams and forced a fumble in the process. Watt was there to scoop it up and was off to the race for the first point of the game and a big-time momentum swing.
