CBB Top 25: Maryland still inside Top 10, Michigan State falls from rankings

For the first time this season, Michigan State isn’t in the rankings.

After three-straight losses, the Spartans have fallen out of the top 25. Last week, Tom Izzo’s team lost a home game to Penn State and a road contest to in-state rival Michigan. Michigan State entered the season as the No. 1 team in the country.

Maryland was able to keep a hold of its spot inside the top 10, after winning both games this past week. The Terrapins defeated Rutrgers and Illinois to improve to 19-4 on the year and 9-3 in the B1G. The Terps currently sitting atop the conference standings.

Penn State, Iowa and Illinois are all also ranked in this week’s AP Poll. Michigan State, Purdue, Ohio State, Michigan and Rutgers all received votes. Below is the complete top 25:
