CBB Top 25: Purdue, Illinois rise while Wisconsin, Michigan State drop in latest AP Poll
Purdue and Illinois continued to climb in this week’s Associated Press Poll, setting up an even bigger matchup between the two teams in West Lafayette on Tuesday night.
The Boilermakers are up to No. 3 this week after posting wins over Minnesota and Michigan. Brad Underwood’s Fighting Illini climbed 5 spots to No. 13 with victories against Wisconsin and Indiana.
Wisconsin took a tumble following the loss to Illinois. Also on the decline was Michigan State, which got blown out on the road to Rutgers. Ohio State maintained its spot at No. 16.
