CBS Sports Network’s Inside College Football analysts Rick Neuheisel, Aaron Taylor, Brian Jones and Randy Cross revealed their Heisman Ballots following eight weeks of play.
Jones had CJ Stroud at No. 3 on his ballot, putting Alabama’s Bryce Young and Tennessee’s Hendon Hooker at No. 2 and No. 1, respectively. Hooker, who has led the Vols to a 7-0 start, has recorded 18 touchdowns while only throwing 1 interception. Young has also been lights out for Alabama, throwing 18 touchdowns and almost 2,000 yards.
Stroud has thrown for over 2,000 yards and also leads the nation in touchdowns with 28.
Cross had Max Duggan out of TCU at No. 3 on his ballot. Duggan has thrown 19 touchdowns and just 1 interception on the year. Cross then had Young at No. 2 and Stroud at No. 1.
Taylor gave the nod to Tennessee, putting wide receiver Jalin Hyatt at No. 3 on his ballot. Hyatt has racked up 12 touchdowns on the season. Taylor had Stroud at No. 2 and Hooker at No. 1.
Neuheisel also went to Duggan at No. 3 for his ballot, with Stroud at No. 2 and Hooker at No. 1.
