The final “bowl” game of the football season has been played.

Maybe it wasn’t at the college level, but Sunday’s Super Bowl between the Los Angeles Rams and Cincinnati Bengals marked the end of the football season for 2021. And now that it’s all behind us, Action Network’s Brett McMurphy is looking ahead to 2022.

The college football analyst is making some early predictions for bowl games following the 2022 season. McMurphy has a total of 11 B1G teams reaching the postseason next fall. He believes three teams will be playing in New Year’s Six games, including a return to the College Football Playoff.
