Chris Fowler previews The Game as Michigan has 'pulverized' Ohio State in recent years
Chris Fowler is anticipating a fun matchup in this year’s edition of The Game.
Just like the past few games, Ohio State and Michigan come into The Game at the top of college football and looking to reach the College Football Playoff. The winner of The Game will play in the Big Ten Championship and have a much better chance of reaching the CFP with a win.
Fowler broke down the last few meetings and previewed this year’s game on the Dan Patrick Show on Monday.

“The fact that they have pulverized Ohio State the last couple of years completely manhandled after halftime,” Fowler said. “I know they’re going into that game thinking the blueprint works. You beat them into submission a couple years ago, and last year. 28-3 after halftime. They think they’re the tougher, more physical team and that gets Ryan Day all fired up. There’s plenty of motivation on their side, but hey, that’s where that came from. That’s where they came from. And Ohio State wasn’t tough enough on the line of scrimmage to beat these teams the last couple of years. They’ve got the opportunity to flip the script, but it won’t be easy.”
There are plenty of off-the-field distractions coming into The Game as Michigan deals with the sign-stealing investigation, but when the ball kicks off on Saturday it will be a battle between two of the best.
