The new AP Top 25 dropped on Monday, and the Big Ten continues to be led by Michigan State.

The Spartans moved up one spot, checking in at No. 7. Tom Izzo’s squad is one of 5 B1G programs to be ranked in the poll. Three others received votes.

MSU advanced its winning streak to 12 games, improving to 17-2 overall and 8-0 in conference play with an 81-74 win over Rutgers on the road.

Purdue is the only other B1G squad in the top 10. The Boilermakers fell to Ohio State 73-70 but bounced back with a 91-64 win over a Michigan team that was ranked. The Wolverines have dropped out of the top 25.

Oregon slid 1 spot to No. 16 in the new poll following a road loss to Minnesota. Wisconsin is right behind the Ducks at No. 17, up 1 spot after a blowout win over Nebraska.

Illinois rounds out the ranked B1G teams at No. 18. The Illini are down 1 spot after a split week in which they lost to Maryland and defeated Northwestern.
