College basketball AP Top 25: Week 4 poll features 3 Big Ten programs
The Week 4 AP Top 25 is out, revealing 3 Big Ten teams in the latest rankings.
Feast Week has started, and the Big Ten is scrambling to collect some resume-defining wins in the non-conference schedule before the start of conference play. And some teams are doing just that.
Wisconsin has probably done the best job to this point in the year. The Badgers have now downed Arizona and Pitt in consecutive weeks, both of which are NCAA Tournament teams. Wisconsin comes in at No. 15 in this latest poll.
Right in front of the Badgers are No. 13 Purdue and No. 14 Indiana. The Boilermakers did not have a great week, falling to Marquette following their win over Alabama last week. Indiana played just once, downing UNC Greensboro.
Rutgers fell out of the top 25 after falling to Kennesaw State, a few days after struggling some against Merrimack (the Scarlet Knights still won, 74-63).
A quick tip of the hat to Nebraska, which downed No. 14 Creighton, 74-63 behind 16 points from Juwan Gary and Brice Williams. The Huskers received 21 votes in this latest poll.
