College basketball fan creates epic 'One Shining Moment' video all from his apartment
With all of us quarantined in our homes currently, there’s been an uptick in creativity. It’s been even more popular among sports fans, now that all games, events and activities have either been delayed, postponed or canceled.
Monday night would’ve been college basketball’s national championship game, concluding one of the crazier years in the sport. However, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, NCAA officials were forced to cancel the March Madness tournament this year, leaving us waiting until the 2020-21 season to crown our next national champion.
That means there will be no One Shining Moment, a popular montage dedicated to highlighting the best plays, moments, players and coaches of the NCAA Tournament. Even when the games are over, it’s the one non-basketball video fans look forward to watching to officially end the season.
Since this year’s tournament was canceled, one college basketball fan, Brandon Gaudin, decided to create his own One Shining Moment video, filming it all from his apartment. And yes, it’s pretty epic.
