The college football bowl picture is becoming ever clearer with most teams either firmly bowl eligible or approaching the 6-win threshold coming out of Week 11. CBS expert Jerry Palm has updated his full bowl outlook, including projections for the College Football Playoff.

In the Playoff, Palm is projecting an SEC East rematch between Georgia and Tennessee in a game between a top-seeded Bulldogs squad and the No. 4 Vols. Ohio State is also featured in the CFP as the No. 2 seed against TCU at No. 3.

Some of the teams missing out on the Playoff but landing in the New Year’s Six Bowls are Michigan, USC, Washington, LSU, Clemson and Alabama. After upset losses in Week 11, Palm does not see Oregon or Ole Miss rebounding to reach the New Year’s Six.
