It’s New Year’s Day, which means we’ve got a full day of college football bowl games. All eyes are on the College Football Playoff semifinals, but there’s plenty of football before the Rose Bowl and Sugar Bowl.

LSU and Wisconsin kick things off in the ReliaQuest Bowl, formerly known as the Outback Bowl. The Sunshine State’s other Big Ten-SEC battle features Tennessee and Iowa in the Citrus Bowl.

The Fiesta Bowl is the only non-CFP New Year’s Six game on the Monday schedule. Bo Nix and the Oregon Ducks face an undefeated Liberty team.

The Rose Bowl is first up among the two Playoff semifinals. No. 4 Alabama seeks to be the first team to beat No. 1 Michigan. UM, fresh off a 3-peat as Big Ten champions, remains a slight favorite over the top squad from the SEC.

The Sugar Bowl will decide the final spot in the College Football Playoff National Championship as No.2 Washington tangles with No. 3 Texas in New Orleans. The Huskies are undefeated, but underdogs to the 1-loss Longhorns.
