Look, up in the sky! It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s a… drone?

Believe it or not, that was the case late in the Stanford vs. Washington game of Week 4. A drone was seen hovering over Husky Stadium and wound up forcing a game delay as officials worked to remove the interruption.

The FOX broadcast booth noted the network is allowed to use drones during USFL coverage, but the crew assured fans the drone in question Saturday night did not belong to the network.

Who – and where – the drone came from remains to be seen.

If the drone came from someone hoping to get a birds-eye look at the game, they certainly picked an odd time to fly over the stadium. By the time the drone was an issue, Washington was up big with a score of 40-15 on its way to a 4-0 start.
