The race to the College Football Playoff is finally complete! On Sunday, fans found out the final field of 4 with the full and final CFP rankings getting released shortly after.

While we still have a bit of time to wait until the expanded field for the Playoff, the final rankings are still important for a number of reasons. For one, the rankings help show which teams are deserving of a New Year’s Six Bowl, and they also help illustrate which programs are looking good and firing on all cylinders and looking good for the expanded Playoff.
