The college football season is rolling into Week 12, and the latest edition of the College Football Playoff Rankings was unveiled Tuesday evening.

Not a lot of drama or change was expected at the top for the week. The top 7 teams from the previous rankings all won, including No. 4 Ohio State flexing its explosive firepower vs. Purdue and No. 6 Michigan earning a gritty win vs. Penn State. No. 7 Michigan State also won big at home vs. Maryland.

Last week’s No. 8 Oklahoma did suffer its first defeat of the season at the hands of last week’s No. 13 Baylor. Though some have claimed that loss knocked the Sooners out of CFP contention, some key games for Lincoln Riley’s squad could allow a 1-loss OU team to claw back into the running.
