College Football Playoff Rankings: 6 B1G teams land in first Top 25

The first College Football Playoff rankings have been released. There’s going to be plenty of discussion.

Because of the chaos we’ve seen through the first two months of the season, this was one of the trickier Top 25 rankings seen from the selection committee. Even though there’s still a full month left in the 2021 season, there are already some fired up fanbases.

Six B1G teams earned a spot in the first College Football Playoff rankings of the season. Right now Michigan State is the only team in the Top 4 as the calendar turns to November. Ohio State and Michigan are in the Top 7. Will it stay that way?
