The top 6 of the final College Football Playoff rankings were revealed Sunday at Noon.

Michigan, Washington, Texas and Alabama are the top 4 teams that will battle for the College Football Playoff in just under a month. Alabama and Georgia sit outside the top 4 at No. 5 and No. 6 respectively.

Michigan and Washinton were no-brainers for the committee. The Wolverines took care of business last night, downing Iowa 26-0 to win their 3rd straight Big Ten title. Washington finishes the season undefeated as well, downing Oregon to win the Pac-12 title Friday night.

Texas earned their spot, too. The Longhorns downed Oklahoma State in dominant fashion and could rest easy knowing they had a head-to-head win over Alabama under their belt from early in the season.

In the end, it was Florida State who drew the short straw despite finishing the regular season undefeated with an ACC Championship win over Louisville. The Seminoles simply are not the same team without star QB Jordan Travis at the helm of the offense, and the committee’s decision reflects that.
