College Football Playoff rankings: Michigan moves into Top 4
Sure, many are talking about college basketball right now.
But that’s because it’s Tuesday, Nov. 6. It marks the day of the start of hoops season. But soon enough, Saturday will roll around once again and football will becoming king again.
However, on each Tuesday from now until Dec. 2 (a Sunday), the College Football Playoff committee will release its newest Top 25. These are important, of course, because the Top 4 teams at the end of the season will participate in the playoff.
We’re only 10 weeks into the college football season, so these rankings will surely change from now until the end of the year, but here is a look at the second Top 25 rankings according to the committee:

- West Virginia

Last week, in the first rankings of the season, the Big Ten had 4 teams in the Top 25. This week, 5 are in, as Michigan State went from unranked to No. 18, joining No. 4 Michigan, No. 10 Ohio State, No. 20 Penn State and No. 21 Iowa.
