All that stands between us and the College Football Playoff are the conference championship games!

Selection Sunday is quickly approaching, and the Playoff field is starting to take shape. The top three teams from last week (Alabama, Clemson, and Notre Dame) all won, but Michigan, previously at No. 4, was blown out by Ohio State in Columbus.

That resounding win by the Buckeyes clouded the Playoff picture a bit with Georgia, Oklahoma, and UCF the teams ranked ahead of OSU that also won. Michigan, LSU, and Washington State were teams previously ranked ahead of the Buckeyes that lost over the weekend. However, fans now have a better idea of what the Playoff could look like after Tuesday’s updated rankings were released.

Here is how the rankings stand heading into this week’s action:

  1. Alabama
  2. Clemson
  3. Notre Dame
  4. Georgia
  5. Oklahoma
  6. Ohio State
  7. Michigan
  8. UCF
  9. Florida
  10. LSU
  11. Washington
  12. Penn State
  13. Washington State
  14. Texas
  15. Kentucky
  16. West Virginia
  17. Utah
  18. Mississippi State
  19. Texas A&M
  20. Syracuse
  21. Northwestern
  22. Boise State
  23. Iowa State
  24. Missouri
  25. Fresno State

Do you agree with the current final four?
