College Football Playoff Rankings: Twitter discusses four B1G teams in top seven
For the third time in four weeks, the College Football Playoff rankings had very little drama when it boiled down to the top four spots.
As it was expected, Alabama, Ohio State, Michigan and Clemson hung on to their rankings from last week, creating almost no debate for the panel about the teams currently listed in the College Football Playoff.
Spots five through 12? That was a bit of a different story.
Almost in unison with the abrupt studio conversations on ESPN, the Twitter world had its fair share of opinions as well. Here’s what people were saying about this week’s rankings and the B1G having four teams now in the top seven slots:
Four Big Ten in the top 7. Penn State at No. 7.

Kinda surprised #PennState (7) isn't above Wisconsin (6),. Badgers lone Top 25 W is over No. 16 Nebraska. NittanyLions beat No. 2 OSU.

I want to take this opportunity to thank the Committee for just moving everyone up one spot just like the AP Poll used to do #Hardwork

Michigan has three wins over teams in the Top 9 of the CFP rankings.
Alabama has two wins over teams in the Top 25 of the CFP rankings.— Tony Gerdeman (@TonyGerdeman) November 23, 2016
For Ohio State and Michigan, it's simple: Winner of “The Game” is in. Just like we've been saying for a couple of weeks.

Joey Galloway is the smartest analyst on the ESPN set right now and it isn't even close.

Kirby Hocutt: Small separation between teams ranked 7-10.

The debate about the impact of the Ohio State-Michigan game this weekend and the potential craziness that could ensue if Penn State or Wisconsin wins the B1G Championship were the hottest topics of the evening.
Buckle up. It’s going to be a wild finish to the college football season.
