After a huge opening weekend of college football, the updated college football rankings should be out shortly.

The new AP Top 25 rankings will be released Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. ET. Additionally, The USA Today Coaches Poll around the same time.

Two of the AP preseason Top 25 ranked teams (Texas and Florida State) should fall out of the top 25 due to their performances this past weekend. Texas lost to Maryland, and Florida State lost to No. 20 Virginia Tech.

Meanwhile, we can expect that the South Carolina Gamecocks will enter the top 25 after the win over Coastal Carolina. Muschamp’s team was ranked just outside the top 25 in the earlier poll.

Two top ten teams went down in the opening week of college football: No. 6 Washington and No. 8 Miami. The Hurricanes will likely drop to somewhere in the 20s after getting pummeled by LSU (we have them at No. 24), and Washington will likely remain in the top ten.
