College football rankings are getting updated coming out of all the Week 8 action. That includes ESPN’s Football Power Index top 25 with a B1G program still at the top of the list.

That team is Ohio State, No. 1 on the FPI and percentage points ahead of Alabama. Despite a loss to Tennessee, the Crimson Tide still check in at No. 2 with a 28.2 rating, trailing only the Buckeyes with a 28.8 rating.

The only other team to achieve better than a 23 rating after Week 8 is Georgia at No. 3 with a 27.8 grade by the FPI. Michigan is No. 4 but substantially behind the top 3 with a 22.1 grade.
