Illinois, Nebraska, Michigan, and Michigan State aren’t playing in Week 8, so a total of 5 B1G games are on the docket for Saturday. Two of those involve ranked teams: No. 2 Ohio State hosts Iowa at the Horseshoe while No. 16 Penn State holds its annual “White Out” game against Minnesota in Happy Valley.

Ahead of Week 8’s contest, Phil Steele’s updated Vegas Power Rankings are out, as he provides an idea of how the sportsbooks in Las Vegas rank every single FBS team in the country while showing how a hypothetical betting line would look if a pair of teams were to meet on a neutral side. Steele released the weekly rankings while with ESPN but has carried them on as an independent writer.

This week’s edition shouldn’t provide any surprises from a B1G standpoint as Ohio State is far and away the top-ranked in the conference. In fact, it leads the Power Rankings altogether, while Michigan (No. 5) is the only other B1G team in the top 5.
