Per a report from NEWS CENTER Maine, Maine Maritime traditionally blasts a cannon after the team scores a tradition. One of the school’s alums, however, decided to bring his own cannon and blasted it with an official right in front of the shot.

The official grabbed his face and fell to the ground and needed to be assisted off the field. The official was then taken to the hospital where he is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
