College GameDay announces Championship Week destination
We have finally made it to championship weekend in college football. ESPN’s premier pregame show College GameDay has picked its next destination.
College GameDay will be in Atlanta, GA., for the SEC Championship Game between No. 1 Georgia and No. 3 Alabama. This is the game everyone has been anticipating since Week 1.

Georgia has looked dominant all season long; they have had one of the best defenses in the country and have not been tested since Week 1 when they beat Clemson 10-3.
On the other hand, Alabama has not looked like the No. 3 in the country at all; they have struggled against Arkansas, Auburn, LSU and lost to No. 15 Texas A&M.
Some folks may say that the only reason Alabama is in the No. 3 slot is because of recency bias from past seasons and the brand name. The Crimson Tide have also been helped by multiple teams losing around them each week.
Georgia has looked like the team to beat all season long but has not had to face as potent an offense as Alabama; it should be fun one in Atlanta.
No. 1 Georgia vs. No. 3 Alabama is this Saturday at 4:00 ET on CBS.
