No. 14 Texas A&M fended off No. 13 Auburn on Saturday in a defensive struggle winning the game 20-3 at home.
No. 16 Ole Miss played Liberty in a non-conference game that had former head coach Hugh Freeze return to Ole Miss for the first time since being let go from the program. The Rebels would end up beating the Flames 27-14.
Texas A&M is 7-2 on the year 4-2 in SEC play. The Aggies have probably the biggest win of the year knocking off No. 1 Alabama 41-38 but also have puzzling losses to Arkansas and Mississippi State.
Ole Miss is 7-2 on the season and 3-2 in conference play. The Rebels biggest win is probably beating Arkansas at home 52-51. The Rebels 2 losses are against No. 2 Alabama and No. 13 Auburn both of those games were on the road.
Texas A&M and Ole Miss kickoff this Saturday at 7:00 ET on ESPN.
