College GameDay announces Week 1 location

College football may not be here tomorrow or the next day, but it’s coming up.

We’re past the mid-July point and the greatest sport on earth starts in August. Another college football season also means another thing: more College GameDay.

On Thursday afternoon, College GameDay announced where it will be heading for Week 1 of the 2019 season. Hello, AT&T Stadium:

College GameDay will be going to Fort Worth, Texas where Auburn and Oregon will play each other at AT&T Stadium. The game itself will be played at 7:30 p.m.  on Aug. 31 on ABC.

Both teams are anticipated on being ranked highly in the Top 25 to start the season.
