After kicking off the season in the Midwest for a top 25 showdown between No. 14 Michigan and No. 12 Notre Dame, the College GameDay crew is headed down South.

ESPN announced that the pre-game show is headed down to College Station, Texas for next Saturday’s heavyweight bout between No. 2 Clemson and Texas A&M. Both teams are currently 1-0.

Clemson currently sits behind only Alabama in the top 25 rankings and is expected to reach the College Football Playoff again this fall.

Texas A&M, while it has had its ups and downs over the last few seasons, is expected to be back in the national spotlight with Jimbo Fisher running the show.

College GameDay will be live from College Station, Texas beginning at 9am on Saturday, Sept. 8.
