College GameDay announces Week 5 destination
For the first time in 2020, College GameDay will be making the trip to an SEC college town.
Late Saturday night, the popular ESPN pregame show announced it would be hitting the road to Athens to preview an SEC showdown between No. 8 Auburn and No. 4 Georgia. It’s a huge crossover matchup in just the second week of the conference’s schedule.
Both Auburn and Georgia won their season openers on Saturday. The Tigers defeated No. 23 Kentucky 29-13 while the Bulldogs beat Arkansas 37-10.

Georgia has dominated the head-to-head series recently, winning the last three meetings and victors in six of the last seven contests. Last year, the Bulldogs downed the Tigers 21-14.
College GameDay has set up shop in ACC territory each of the last three weeks. This past weekend, the pregame show made the journey to Miami to preview Florida State-Miami.
